Our Book Buddies
Our team has helped over 200 people publish their book through editing, design and production.

Les Zigomanis is Chief Editor and Publications Manager at Busybird Publishing. He has had three novels published – August Falling, Just Another Week in Suburbia, and Pride – and three screenplays optioned. His unpublished manuscripts and unproduced screenplays have placed and shortlisted in various awards. He’s also had short stories and articles published in various print and digital journals.

Laura McCluskey has a Bachelor of Journalism from La Trobe University. She has written for Mercedes Benz magazine, and worked for Hardie Grant Media and Bride magazine before joining the editorial team at Busybird Publishing in 2016. She is a talented YA author with an innate understanding of prose.

An award-winning writer, Blaise van Hecke is the Director of Publishing at Busybird Publishing as well as President of the Society of Women Writers Victoria.
